The use of Silicone

Silicone is also named as organic silicon compounds which contains a Si-O bond, and at least one organic base is directly connected with the silicon atoms of compounds, it is often used on those by oxygen, sulfur, nitrogen and silicon atoms of organic base connected compounds as organic silicon compounds. Among them, the silicon-oxygen bond (-Si-0-Si-) consisting of polysiloxane as the backbone, is the largest number of organic silicon compounds, research the deepest, the most widely used class,it occupied of about 90% of the total volume.
Since the unique structure of the Silicone, both has the inorganic and organic materials, performance materials, with low surface tension, viscosity-temperature coefficient, high compression, high gas permeability of the basic nature, and has high temperature resistance, electrical insulation, resistance to oxidation stability resistance, weather resistance, flame retardant, water-repellent, corrosion-resistant, non-toxic, tasteless, and physical inertia and other outstanding features, widely used in aerospace, electrical and electronics, construction, transport, chemicals, textiles, food, light industry, medical and other industries, which silicone is mainly used in sealing, bonding, lubrication, coating, surface activity, mold release, anti-foaming, defoaming, water, moisture, inert fill and so on.
